About Algiz Tactical
Built for the guardian.Whoever that is.
The story behind Algiz Tactical —
who we are, why we exist, and who this training is for.
THE STORY
Most tactical training wasn't built for you.
It was built for people going to the fight.
Rangers. SEALs. SWAT.
Trained for combat deployment, room clearing, and operations most of us will never face.
That traiing is extraordinary — for the mission it was designed for.
Your mission is different.
You are not going to the fight.
You are protecting what is already yours.
Your family — at home and wherever they are.
Your congregation on Sunday.
Your neighbors when everything goes wrong.
We live in a world where the unthinkable happens in ordinary places —
grocery stores, parking lots, schools, churches.
You've seen the news.
You know the world you and your family moves through every day.
The question is not whether threats exist.
The question is whether you are prepared to protect the people who depend on you if one ever finds you.
That mission deserves training built specifically for it.
Not watered down operator training.
Not a weekend certification course.
A curriculum built from the ground up for the life you actually live —
the threats you will actually face —
and the people you are actually protecting.
That is what Algiz Tactical is.
That is why it exists.

The Mark
Algiz.
( AL-geez )
ELDER FUTHARK · ANCIENT NORSE RUNIC ALPHABET · 2ND CENTURY AD
ᛉ
A symbol tied to guardianship, awareness, and the defense of what matters.
Algiz is an ancient mark commonly understood as a symbol of protection.
Not protection through aggression.
Not strength for the sake of violence.
But protection with purpose.
A mark of guardianship.
Of instinct.
Of standing watch.
Of knowing where the boundary is — and having the strength to hold it.
It represents the one who stands between harm and the people they love.
The guardian who holds the line.
The protector who does not turn away.
The one who stays ready when others depend on them.
That is the mark of Algiz Tactical.
That is the standard we train to.
Algiz Tactical exists to equip responsible
civilians with the skills, confidence,
and mindset needed to protect themselves,
their families, their churches,
and their communities.
Through practical firearms training,
disciplined instruction, and a
readiness-focused approach —
we help everyday people become
safer, stronger, more capable guardians.

WHO THIS IS FOR
Guardian is not
an exclusive title.
Algiz Tactical was built for the civilian guardian.
The parent who drives past something unsettling and realizes they aren't ready.
The church elder asked to think about security for their congregation.
The neighbor who feels a quiet responsibility to be prepared.
The everyday person who looked at the world and decided capable is the only acceptable standard.
But guardian is not an exclusive title.
If you served — welcome.
If you carry a badge — welcome.
If you've never fired a weapon — welcome.
Military service is respected here.
Law enforcement experience is respected here.
Civilian context is taught here.
The three are not the same.
Knowing the difference matters.
What matters is not where you've been.
It's the decision you're making right now.
We meet you where you are.
We build from there.

The Instructor
Dustin Salter
Guardian. Instructor. Civilian.
Dustin didn't come back from war with stories to sell.
He looked at his family, his church, his community — and made a decision.
The same decision you're making right now.
Faith has always been the foundation.
Not a footnote.
Not a disclaimer.
The actual reason.
Proverbs 22:3 says the prudent see danger and take refuge — while the simple go blindly on and suffer for it.
That verse doesn't describe fear.
It describes wisdom.
Awareness. Preparation. The decision to see what's coming and be ready for it.
That is the theological foundation of Algiz Tactical.
Nehemiah 4:17 describes God's people rebuilding the wall — one hand doing the work, the other holding a weapon.
Building their lives.
Protecting their people.
Never caught unprepared.
That is the civilian guardian's calling.
That is what we train for here.
When he discovered Frogman Tactical and the methodology of Jason Pike — a combat-tested Navy SEAL with 18 years of training experience — something clicked.
Not the operator fantasy.
Not the warrior mythology.
The simple, clear conviction that capable protection is available to anyone willing to train with purpose.
Dustin took that methodology and spent years asking one question the operators never had to:
What does this look like for regular people in real situations?
The answer became Algiz Tactical.
Today Dustin trains civilians, veterans, law enforcement, and church security teams in North Georgia — meeting every student exactly where they are and building from there.
The most capable people in any room are usually the ones who train the most.
Not because they have to.
Because they understand the standard never stops moving forward.
Whatever your experience level — there is always a next level.
We will take you there.
Faith. Family. Community.
The three things worth protecting.
The three reasons Algiz Tactical exists.
THE METHODOLOGY
Built on a proven foundation.
Algiz Tactical's curriculum is rooted in the methodology of Frogman Tactical — founded by Jason Pike, former Navy SEAL and combat veteran.
Jason has spent years training civilians not as operators — but as protectors.
That distinction matters.
Certified as an instructor through Frogman Tactical's program, Dustin is held to a standard that goes beyond
what most students ever see —
Advanced tactics. Operator-level methodology.
The same standard Jason holds himself to.
That depth of training exists for one reason —
to bring the highest possible standard of instruction to the civilian who will never be an operator, but carries the same responsibility to protect.
That's not a lesser version of elite training.
That's a different mission entirely.
And it requires different instruction.

THE STANDARD
We train to protect life.
Not property. Not pride. Not ego.
The use of force — especially deadly force — is a grave responsibility reserved for one purpose only:
The protection of innocent life when no other option exists.
We do not train people to look for a fight.
Egos look for fights.
Your ego is checked at the door when you train with Algiz Tactical.
What walks through that door instead is something more valuable —
humility, discipline, and the willingness to be a student.
Those are the qualities that make a capable guardian.
Not bravado. Not aggression. Not attitude.
Your firearm is a last resort.
Your judgment is the first line of defense.
Train both.
TAKE THE NEXT STEP
You made the decision
to read this far.
That decision already sets you apart.
Most people see the world getting harder and hope it never touches them.
You chose to understand what we do, why we do it, and what it asks of you.
That's not a small thing.
Not sure where to start?
That's exactly where we start.
Every guardian begins somewhere.
We meet you where you are — regardless of experience, background, or where you are in your journey.
